The S9 VPAP™ Auto is ResMed's high performance auto-adjusting bilevel device designed for the therapy of noncompliant OSA patients. The device utilizes ResMed's innovations in noise free, user friendly, and comfortable VPAP devices. This model is packaged with H5i Heated Humidifier and ClimateLine Heated Hose. If higher bilevel pressures are needed, you can add the optional ClimateLine MAX heated tubing (not included), for added versatility and maximum performance.
The device also features most of ResMed's proprietary technology, such as Enhanced AutoSet™ algorithm, for the most comfortable and natural breathing experience in an auto VPAP device. It is constructed with a superior noise free Easy-Breathe motor for a comfortable and uninterrupted nights sleep. The device also comes with a color LCD display and menu settings that are highly intuitive for that user friendly experience, even for those who are not technologically saavy. The main device also seamlessly integrates with the optional H5i™ heated humidifier with Climate Control for superior convenience and versatility.
Climate Control for Ultimate Comfort
With the H5i™ heated humidifier and Climate Control, the device provides the best in advanced humidification. The proprietary Climate Control technology automatically determines and adjusts to ambient temperature and humidity levels all throughout the night and varying seasons. The included and proprietary ClimateLine™ tubing, provides constant and comfortable mask temperature with the added benefit of reducing rainout. Adding the optional ClimateLine MAX tubing, guarantees superior performance and versatility.

Superior Data Management
Data management solutions provide a user-friendly experience for both user and healthcare provider. The device is capable of 30 sessions of detailed data, seven sessions of high-resolution data, as well as 365 compliance sessions and summarized data. Transfer of compliance and summary data is a breeze with the S9™ wireless module. This allows remote daily monitoring using the SD card on the VPAP auto. The S9 wireless technology, allows the healthcare provider to view usage during the first weeks of therapy, which is the critical stage. This ensures that problems with compliance are detected and resolved.
Effective Therapy with ResMed's Proven Technology
Conventional settings usually are capable of meeting patient needs. However, there are exceptions to the rule. The S9 VPAP device offers maximum control of the device in order to meet the unique requirements of even the most difficult bilevel patients.
The auto mode in VPAP Auto works with Easy-Breathe pressure delivery to synchronize with the patient's respiration to make a more natural and comfortable breathing experience.
In addition the Vsync™ technology provides excellent synchronicity between patient and ventilator by compensating for leaks. Proprietary TiControl™, also contributes to accommodating to individual respiratory conditions.
Built in Warming Up Icon
The H5i heater plate is now designed with a warm-up feature. The device allows users to preheat the H5i heater plate via push dial, which would then show a warming up icon and progress bar on the display to determine the length of time for the heater plate to attain full temperature.
Optional Dishwasher Safe Chamber
The sleek and compact H5i seamlessly fits on the S9 devices. A convenient flip-top lid allows filling of the water chamber without having to remove the tube. The water chamber itself has high efficiency and has a capacity of 380 ml.
ResMed S9 VPAP can also be fitted with an optional dishwasher-safe chamber. It can be disassembled and washed. This provides better hygiene and a longer life span than the usual 6 months of conventional sealed chamber.
