Fisher & Paykel Pilairo Q CPAP Nasal Pillow Mask by Ray Schmidt Date Added: Thursday 16 January, 2014
Fisher & Paykel Pilairo Q CPAP Nasal Pillow Mask
Having used a Swift FX nasal mask for several years as the "best fit for me" solution at the time, I decided to have a try of the new Pilairo Q and WHAT a difference it has made to my sleep!! The fit is almost leak proof and I don NOT wake up when rolling over with this mask! With the other, I was constantly waking to refit the mask and stop the leakages with every turn, NOT ANY MORE!! Aside from the slight pressure on the tip of my nose, which I am becoming more used to each night, the feel of the snugness when the surrounding nasal pillow inflates and firmly but gently seals the air passage and at the same time, causes the nasal tips to position themselves in my nostrils, but they are so soft, I hardly notice any, but slight intrusion into the nasal passages. A BRILLIANT design! One mask that is almost perfect and that is from someone who has a script for 18psi! I have never dreamt so vividly and now feel twice as energetic during the day! Well done Fisher & Paykel! And for you who maybe thinking of changing over, don't hesitate! Sleep well everyone! Regards, Ray

Fisher Paykel ICON Premo CPAP Machine with Built In Heated Humidifier by MA AA Date Added: Thursday 16 January, 2014
Fisher Paykel ICON Premo CPAP Machine with Built In Heated Humidifier
very bad experience with this machine as Resshope shipped a faulty machine to me in Saudi Arabia. when i informed them about the problem they told me in order to get my money back and order another machine, i have to ship back the machine to them in the US. The cost of shipping from Saudi to US for the machine is $300 and they refused to pay it or credit it to my account. Now i'm stuck with a faulty machine and lost $750 in the process

Headgear for Fisher Paykel Pilairo Nasal Pillow System by Trevor West Date Added: Monday 06 January, 2014
Headgear for Fisher Paykel Pilairo Nasal Pillow System
What a rip off. My original lasted 3months, and that was useing a paper clip to take up the loss of stretchability. this started after some 6 weeks. Have now used elastic tape, cut ends to insert, pulled tight and tied a note at this length. Managed to get 4 lengths from one $2 pack. $2 for 4 sure beats $29.99 US. Am aussie.

CPAP Bacteria Filter by al Berg Date Added: Monday 23 December, 2013
CPAP Bacteria Filter
This filter helps keep your mask and tubing much cleaner, not to mention all that you don't breathe in. It's easy to install. I put mine directly onto the outlet of my ResMed BPaP machine and then connected the hose to that, you'll never notice it's there except that you won't have to do as much cleaning. I replace my filter once a month and because its clear you can see what has been filtered. This is a good item to have during cold and flu season, and if you have mold/pollen/dust issues in your home.

CPAP Hose Lift by Bruce Ochiyo Date Added: Sunday 15 December, 2013
CPAP Hose Lift
I think this was a very good investment. When I had my machine next to my bed, I found myself constantly moving the machine because the cord kept getting pushed and pulled by me or my pillows. With this device, I was able to keep it mostly up and away from my bed and minimize the interference. I have also been able to move the machine to a table behind my bed and this lift allows the hose to go above my headboard. Though I haven't done so, I believe it is folds easily for travel and is very lightweight.

Transcend H9M Humidification System including Headgear by Bruce Ochiyo Date Added: Sunday 15 December, 2013
Transcend H9M Humidification System including Headgear
I had high hopes that this would be helpful in using my Transcend machine. Unfortunately, I did not find it that helpful. This system allows you to mount the unit on your head, which allows you to use a very short tube to connect to the mask. It is cumbersome to set up and was difficult for me to adjust. The first couple of days of sleep were fine, but soon after I found that I was waking up with a stiff neck, which I believe could be from having the unit on my head while asleep. I also found that no matter how much I adjusted it, after awhile, it kept slipping off more and more frequently. There is also a slot that allows you to adjust the pitch and position of the mask to your forehead. I found it coming off quite frequently as I put it on and sometimes when I was sleeping. You are also limited to the brands/types of masks that this system will support. If you don't currently use one of the masks supported, give serious thought to whether you want to use a different mask before paying for this system. In addition, the "humidifier" appears to be those little blue things in the picture, which you are told to replace weekly and I guess you have to re-order more from the manufacturer. I don't know the cost, but reviews from other sites indicate it is costly. That said, just because it did not work well for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. However, consider the issues I have brought up in making your purchase decision.
